Reach for the Crown Productions is thrilled for our state queen, Tamika Hall! August 28, 2010, in Kansas City, Missouri, Tamika Hall, Mrs. Maryland Essence 2010 captured the title of Mrs. Essence 2010! This was the second time she competed for this national title.
Described by SisterDivas Magazine as ‘Young, Powerful, and Determined!” and nominated as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women, Tamika Hall is the bestselling author of seven books and a highly sought after speaker and performer. Tamika has spoken around the Country to thousands of children, youth, and concerned adults about bullying, dating violence, domestic violence, and discovering one’s personal best. A survivor of dating and domestic abuse, Hall will continue the work she has done with dating violence for the last ten years under her popular program, “Love Doesn’t Leave Bruises!”
“I love the Essence Pageant System and all that is stands for!” says Hall with a smile. “I decided to compete for the title of Mrs. Essence because I was looking for something different in the world of pageantry.”
Tamika is the proud wife of Terrelle Hall, the two reside on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with their four children, and attend Greater New Hope Church & Ministries. Together they run El Shaddai Productions, a company dedicated to producing stage plays and marketing Arts Ministries.
Way to Go Tamika!
